DECK THE HALLS: SSO CHRISTMAS CONCERT AT THE ESPLANADE
Celebrate the festive season with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra's annual Christmas Concert.
For this first time, we'll be holding this cracker of a concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall. But, as in previous years, the orchestra will be performing a mix of much-loved Christmas music alongside modern classics. And, of course, it will finish with our traditional Christmas carol sing-along.
Joshua Tan conducts a programme which includes excerpts from Handel's Messiah, John Williams' score for Home Alone, Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker as well as music by John Rutter, Prokofiev and much more.
The Singapore Symphony Orchestra's Christmas Concert has been an annual fixture since 1990 and is one of the most popular concerts of the orchestra's season.
