Pre-event Testing For SSO Gala: Ray Chen Plays Sibelius

Pre-Event Testing (PET) is compulsory for all attendees at this performance as part of Singapore's VDS+Test pilot for live performances. All patrons, including fully vaccinated individuals or those exempted from VDS (Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures), must produce a negative ART result done within 24 hours before the end of the performance. 

Ticket holders can opt for either:

  • A supervised-over-video-call test; or
  • Test done in-person at an MOH-approved COVID-19 Test Provider or Quick Test Centre.

On-site testing is not available, and unsupervised self-tests at home will not be accepted.

  1. Download the Doctor Anywhere app on your phone.
  2. Click on 'Profile' and fill in your details. [Each ticket holder needs to input a unique email address]
  3. Return to home page and look for Supervised Antigen Rapid Test under "Telehealth Services". Click on 'Schedule an Appointment with your Preferred Supervisor'.
    For appointments between 7 Apr, 10pm to 8 Apr, 1am, please search for, and select one of the following supervisors

      For appointments on 8 Apr, from 8am to 5pm, you may select any available supervisor.
  4. Confirm details of your test, and key in details of your unopened HSA-approved test kit.
  5. To waive payment, at the bottom of the page, enter promo code 'SSO8APR'
  6. Proceed with booking of appointment.
  7. On appointment day, follow the steps as shared by the Swab Supervisor.
  8. Proceed for the concert with your negative test result reflected in your TraceTogether App or in a link sent via sms and email.

  2. After completing registration, you will receive an email confirmation.
  3. SMS reminder will be sent to you 1 day before your time slot.
  4. Download the Minmed Connect app and key in the promo code ‘SSOXMM’ before starting the call.
  5. Ensure you have a copy of your e-ticket, and an an unopened HSA-approved test kit, before your timeslot.
  6. Follow the instructions from the test supervisor.
  7. Proceed to the concert with your negative test result reflected in your TraceTogether App or in a link sent via sms.

Update, 8 Apr, 1.45pm: We regret that Speedoc has no more available slots for pre-event testing.

  3. On the day of appointment, click on the appointment link in the sms.
  4. Ensure you have a copy of your e-ticket, and an unopened HSA-approved test kit, before your timeslot.
  5. Follow the instructions from the test supervisor. 6 Proceed to the concert with your negative test result reflected in your TraceTogether App or in a link sent via sms.

  1. Proceed to any MOH-approved COVID-19 test provider or Quick Test Centre to take an Antigen Rapid Test (ART).
  2. Retain your payment receipt for reimbursement.
  3. Proceed to the concert with your negative test result.
  4. Submit your request for reimbursement here.

Q. I am fully vaccinated and/or medically ineligible. Do I still need to go for a Pre-Event Test?

A: Yes. As part of Singapore's VDS+Test pilot for live performances, all ticket holders are required to provide a negative Pre-Event Test result in addition to being fully vaccinated or medically ineligible for vaccination.

Q: Do I have to pay for my Pre-Event Test?

A: The Pre-Event Test is complimentary for all ticket holders for SSO GALA: Ray Chen Plays Sibelius (Apr 8). Patrons opting for an in-person test will need to pay upfront first, before submitting a claim for reimbursement. No upfront payment is needed for supervised testing over video call.

Q: From what time can I take the pre-event test?

A: The pre-event test has to be taken any time from 10pm, Thurs, 7 April 2022, as it has to be within 24 hours before the end of the concert.

Q: We are from the same household attending the concert. Can we book one time slot only?

A: As the test result will be synced to the TraceTogether app/token, each ticket holder has to book one time slot. Multiple persons using one device during the timeslot is not allowed.

Q: Do children below 12 need to undergo Pre-Event Testing?

A: Yes, all attendees regardless of age are required to undergo Pre-Event Testing. (Please note that minimum admission age is 7.)

Q. I have bought tickets for me and my companion. Does the second ticket need to have my companion's name?

A: No. The names on the tickets do not need be the same as the concert-goer.

Q: I have recently recovered from COVID-19. Do I still need to go for the pre-event test?

A: Yes, you are still required to produce a negative Pre-Event Test result for admission.

Q. I have a positive result from the pre-event test. What do I do?

Q. I have registered for a booking slot, but have not received the confirmation email or sms. What do I do next?

A: Please contact the test provider directly to verify if your booking has gone through.
